“Carnegie Caulfield Criteriums continue Sunday April 23rd and conclude April 29th at Glenvale Crescent (Melways map 80B2). B, D and E Grades start at 9am, while A and C Grade ride at 10am. Please note there will no racing at Glenvale on Easter Sunday.

For first time competitors and the younger juniors, Tokyo Olympian Mick Hollingsworth conducts novice racing clinics within the E Grade race at Glenvale Crescent. For further details, go to www.carnegiecycling.com.au.”
Caulfield Carnegie Cycling Club: Report
Any takers? Maybe we’ll enter for fun someday…
We headed out to Docklands early on Saturday morning for some fishing. Chee was disappointing early on, only catching a few small bream on bait. He made up for it with a few better fish later on after my brother and I left – still on bait though. My brother managed three smallish pinkies on artificials (including one on the first cast) but demonstrated what an incompetent angler he is by getting busted off when it counted. I put in a half-hearted effort on the fly rod but switched over to the spinning rod when my mad fly casting skillz weren’t up to casting in the 20-30 knot winds. In the end, I managed one lousy pinky and this silver trevally.
That’s the Bolte Bridge in the background and my brother’s finger in the foreground. We were fishing literally right outside the NAB building.
Nothing huge but an interesting morning, nonetheless.
After this Perth trip, I expect to see pictures of some huge samson fish.
A picture tells a thousand words… (in this case, maybe just one)
How much? – Too much…
Where? – Undisclosed for privacy reasons…
You guys can find out the details next time we catch up.
Now, back to my vegemite sandwich lunch…
w00t! 50th post! Well, at least the 50th post that I haven’t censored or deleted.
I missed last week, but now for some light entertainment. As if we hadn’t seen or heard enough about this already…
