For the second time, I made it down to Mornington and back. This time, we actually rode through to the Mornington shops instead of just turning around at the Maccas. The ride down was okay, with Nick taking on HP’s normal role of burning off, but the ride BACK was a killer. Strong headwind all the way. It was all good when I could draft behind the fellas but after I hit the wall at the 92 kay mark, it was solo going all the way home. Still, I was surprised to see Al again on North Rd somewhere with his mobile phone out. At first I thought – flat tyre (again)? Mechanical problem? No, he just forgot where to turn off (again) and was about to call for directions.
Anyway good ride nonetheless with TYP (I’m starting to think we’ll never get the full 5 members riding), and next time around I will NOT do a 46 kay ride through the suburban hills the day before. (I went through 5 museli bars and a Timeout and still ran out of energy).
I expect a full detailed write up once again on wurple.net (no pressure Yang) but here are some pics.

And why is it that every weekend I have to see someone flash their rear end???
