There was absolutely no competition for Geek this month. He had some massive rides, in preparation for his Tours. The rest of the field were nowhere to be seen. I came in at a rather modest 2nd place, due to plenty of bike path pootling on my mountain bike. I was just too cold and slack to wake up for the early bunch rides. Didn’t see much commuting from HY this month, although a fair bit of mtb action. HP had his arthritis flaring up again, which made it difficult to ride; especially during our Melbourne winter cold snap.
I’m not sure how exciting next month is gonna be. Somehow, I get the feeling it’s gonna be another gimme for Geek. It’s Tour de France time again, and I suspect I might be sleeping in a lot, after many late night TV sessions.
