YPR #67 Birthday Ride

I’ll let Keith write this one up as I rocked up extremely late due to feeding responsibilities and a last minute nappy change. I didn’t catch up with those guys until the Mordy Cafe (thanks for the icy pole Keith!). There just weren’t any quick groups to latch on to and I just had to do pretty much all of the hard work on the way down (pooh hoo).

- Al ‘Once in a blue moon’ (actually he was doing pretty well… I guess he wasn’t riding with kiddie trailers for once!)

Also bumped into my HK/London friend there who was returning from Mt Martha. Thank goodness I didn’t ride with him that morning!

YPR #66.1 – the ride that actually wasn’t

It was a beautiful morning for a ride. HP texted me at 6am to say he wanted to sleep in. So I texted Geek and HY to say I was going to sleep-in too. Apparently Geek had no idea what was happening, so he texted everyone else. In summary, nobody went for a ride.

It was a nice and warm evening with plenty of daylight left after work. Enough time to have a bash around Studley Park on the MTBs with Andrew L and HY followed by a nice meal on Victoria Street.

Note to self: keep mouth closed when there are lots of flying insects about.
